Best Security Suites for Usenet Newsgroups
February 27th, 2009

Keeping your identity safe is important. We at TigerUsenet offer excellent security by providing SSL Encrypted connections in order to keep your information private.

However, this is not complete protection. Your computer itself should have its own security to make sure that programs that are not relative to your Usenet account is not compromised.

Below is a short list of very good recommended Antivirus and Security suites to use with your Usenet access account:

1) Eset Smart Secrurity - a superbly rated security suite that offers scanning of SSL-encrypted HTTPS and POP3S traffic.

2) Norton Internet Security 2009 – This is not the same old Norton. Completely recoded, this security program appears to have fixed its issues with blocking legitimate connections. Another good SSL scanning utility.

3) Free AVG Anti-Virus – AVG has had a long history of providing the free version of its Anti-virus to great success by providing premium protection. Did we also mention it was free?

4) Avira Free Anti-virus – Avira is fairly new comparative to the others, but this also free program is very competent – catching more malware than any other program on the market. Although the security suite is a bit lack luster to its competitors yet, the free Anti-Virus program is definetely a contender when used with your Usenet access.
