Newsgroups have been on fire after Michael Jackson suffered a cardiac arrest on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at his Holmby Hills home in L.A. When paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they were not able to revive him.

One of the staff members at Jackson’s home called 911, that call came in at 12:21PM June 25, 2009. Once Michael Jackson arrived at the hospital, the staff tried to resuscitate him but he was completely unresponsive.

Michael had been scheduled to tour in London and had fifty sold out concerts planned throughout the summer. USENET newsgroups dedicated to Michael Jackson, such as alt.fan.michael-jackson, report that t the Apollo Theater in Harlem, fans stared in disbelief as the marquee was changed to read “In memory of Michael Jackson, a true Apollo legend.”

Michael Jackson leaves behind three young children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince “Blanket” Michael Jackson II.
